Illustrate a full cover illustration for Ferment Magazine's latest issue 'Beer Awards: Discover Our Favourite Beers and Breweries from the Last 12 months' and the flourishing craft beer scene in the UK. Also as it's Ferment's 10th birthday the issue is all about celebrations!

Colour drafts weren't hitting the mark, so I went back to the drawing board
My initial idea needed some work to capture more of a party atmosphere

Outcome
I was much happier with my new direction, choosing a bright, bold limited colour palette to add positive vibes to the celebration. Textures and handdrawn patterns give it a handcrafted feel as a nod to the artisan qualities of independent breweries.
